Wilson - Jordan 1893 in Belfast

I am still having no sucess in tracing John and Annie Wilson who were in Belfast in 1893.

Annie's maiden name was Jordan and she was John's 3rd wife.

Any leads gratefully accepted.

Hi. I have a 1896 Belfast Street Directory can you tell me what John or his father work at & what Annie's father work at, they could be in the Directory.

I have very sketchy information about my grandfather's early days and my g grandfather.

I think John and Annie were at 39 Irwin Street Belfast in 1893 when my grandfather was born.

Annie died when Joseph - my grandfather was very young and he and his sister Minnie were put in care.
Minnie to a Convent in Belfast and Joseph to the Artane Monastery in Dublin.

Joseph came to Leeds and was subsequently married, I have all that information from research and living relatives.

But it's the time in Ireland that is a mystery and I would dearly love to find out more.

Hi Lyn. I got it from my 1896 Belfast Street Directory, a Street Directory is a book that gives the name of everyone living in the City of Belfast Towns & Villiages in Northern Ireland.

They have a ABC surname index a list of streets also a list of their trades & professions one book for each year i have 1852.1896/1949/1962/1973 books.

I'm sorry Anthony but I have scoured the pages for Wilson which you sent me but cannot find John Wilson at 39 Irwin Street.

Would it be under another address such as off the Falls Road or is it just me missing something?
