I have come to a dead end while researching my family tree - I cannot find any record of a marriage between Owen Parry born 1853 and Sarah Owen born 1856. They lived in Pentraeth and i think she was born in LLanerchymedd and that is as far as i can go. Any ideas?? They are together on the 1881 census but i would love to go further back and find out who their parents were if I can.

Have you already discounted the 1878 marriage to Sarah Owens in Bangor?

there is this owen parry born in 1852 in pentraeth on the 1861
was your owen born in pentraeth i see he was from the 1881 census and they named their first born hugh with that in mind think there is a good chance this is him with his parents

Thanks to all responses - I will check on marriage in 1878 and am really excited about the 1871 census find - think that is very possibly the right family.
