My Great uncle was a lifeboat man in cornwall in the 1950/60. I know this is not a long time ago, but my little boy is obsessed with lifeboats at the moment so I thought I'd try and fing out some details for him.
He was part of the crew that went out to help with the Torrey Canyon (1967) and maybe moved to th IOM after that. Does anybody know way to get any details? I don't even know what station he went from to the Torrey Canyon.
Any Help would be gratefully appreciated
