Shropshire Marriage Index ~ please can you help me open it>

Hello everyone

I have a Shropshire Marriage Index CD rom for IBM compatibles running Windows 98/NT and later, but when I try to download the CD on my laptop, which is Windows Vista, it saying that my computer cannot open it.  Is there a download I can get on line via the internet so I can read this CD?
 
I have and I can download it on my main computer but would like it on my laptop so I don't have to sit up at the main computer.

Please can you help me? but not too technical please.
