Hello PSC

Welcome to RootsChat:
I'm sure you will find the members of great assistance to you in your researching.

From the information you have given me, I am unable to confirm a link:
Do you have any more information that could possibly provide a link?

Have you come across an Ann WILLIAMSON?

Hi EDO,

In more detail my great grandfather was Francis Cottrell born in 1874 he married Minnie Nagel in 1898.

I believe his parents were William Clifford Cottrell and Elizabeth Knowles.

Williams parents are Richard Gilbert Cottrell and Elizabeth Butler who may be the ones who you say came to Australia in 1838.

Does this assist? All my family have strong Queensland roots.

The only thing is I see Richard who died 1n 1886 parents are stated as one William and "Christina" not an Anne! While the coincidences are staggering to me.
