Childen of McCullough Marriage
« on: Friday 29 January 10 16:56 GMT (UK) »
I have a marriage for John McCullough and Catherine Roney in 1834 at the diocese of Down and Connor and Dromore, Ulster Province.

The family are in England by abt 1841/2 though I have not found them on the 1841 census a daughter Mary is shown as born in Cumberland about 1841/2
but I wonder if there are any childen born in Ireland before this

Down and Connor and Dromore.

Is this refering to a particular place, or just a general area in Co Down

Down and Connor is the name of the Diocese-

If you google 'down and connor' lots of other links will come up.
