Butlin deaths 1861-1871
« on: Sunday 31 January 10 21:10 GMT (UK) »
I have been unable to find the deaths of Thomas Butlin-age 70 in 1861 or his wife Jane age 81 in 1861--living in Castle St Southwark. The one Thomas on Free BMD was the wrong one as cert showed different wife and job. Neither appear on 1871. Any ideas please. I did look at London/Middlesex records too.
Thank you
Ringrose

There is a Jane Butlin death in Shoreditch in 1856, and a Thomas Henry Butlin death in Shoreditch in 1865 on FreeBMD. Don't know if they are yours or not.
regards.

Im not sure as in 1861 they were south of the Thames in Stoke Newington. They were also there in 1851 but I have not found them in 1841.
Thanks
