Has any other family tree researchers stayed at Kew within walking distance of the NA  Kew at a B. and B. and can you recommend somewhere?.

This may be the wrong chat site but it is the one I can find.

Hi Linda

I can't recommend anything, sorry, but you may get some help from the local tourist information site.

http://www.visitrichmond.co.uk/accommodation.asp

there is a link to looking for B&B accomodation around Kew

http://www.visitrichmond.co.uk/thedms.asp?dms=1&areaid=41&msg=browsing$$place%20to%20stay$places%20to%20stay$$in%20Kew

Hope this helps.

If you don't get any other replies soon, I could move this to the Common Room.

There is a Travelodge nearby (London Kew Bridge); you can sometimes get a very cheap deal if you book a long way in advance, check the Travelodge website for special offers.

Laterooms.com is generally worth a look for accommodation bargains, although I don't know how good a deal you will get in the Kew/Richmond area, which is generally rather pricey.

Good luck
