Can anybody help me with what these two occupations might be

A straw plaiter was literally just that some who plaited straw.  The plaited straw was used to make straw hats and bonnets.  This occupation is thus for example found in the villages close to Luton which was a centre for hat making.

From "A Dictionary of Occupational Terms"; A Straw Plaiter, or straw cutter, wove or plaited by hand and machine, using a splitter fitted with radially set cutters, single strands of straw into various widths, if necessary splitting the straws and cutting them into lengths.
