Looking for a marriage of a thomas cooper born fencott 1782 died 1851 was married to a annie cant find her maiden name,they had a daughter emily cooper born 1816 fencott,was there also any other children.

Hi Carol,
Just joined this site and was looking through and saw that you were asking about  a Thomas Cooper.  I was in the Records Office yesterdy and looked on their data base of marriages up to 1837 and found this:-

Thomas COOPER married Ann FOLLEY 14/11/1814 at Chinnor. Witnesses - Sarah GOMM,Thomas JONES & Edmund STEVENS

Chinnor is about 30 miles from Fencott.  Could be the bride's parish, but seems a long way in those days.  Although they seemed to move around more than you would think.   Fencott is part of  Charlton on Otmoor.

Anyway, I live right near the ORO, so if you like I could have another look next week after the Easter break. I am round there quite often.
