1908 Humber Life Saving
« on: Sunday 14 February 10 04:54 GMT (UK) »
Hi There,

Looking for any help with this one:

Interested in a life saving that took place on the Humber in 1908.

Two lads got into trouble, one was saved and the other sadly died.

The Life saver was one G. Neale.

Does anyone know if there might be an old paper of that time which might of run that story? Or might have information of the events of that day?

Any links, Any Help or Advice....most welcome.

Thanks,

Chris Neale.

Hi Chris

The new history centre in Hull has a newspaper archive, this link shows what they have.  http://www.rootschat.com/links/081g/
