2. If no relation could it be  apaupers situation
Have you emailed the cemetery ofice to ask?

Was there a monumental inscription for the grave, to see if names are mentioned and relationships

Thanks for your reply
I have not contacted anyone
I found this a few years ago and was showing my husband last night as we hope to go back to Dunedin
This is when i found others were buried in the same plot
I was looking for Williams father Adam who i have not been able to find I was hoping more information could have been added
I don't  think there will be a head stone but its worth a try to contact the cemetery and ask

Hi Elizabeth

There appears to be only one NZ death for an Adam McKENZIE / MacKENZIE  ... died  1905 - aged 73 years (bc 1832).

Does that sound like your man ?

Sorry, index does not give "place of death".

*  Any idea where other members of his family might have been living c. 1900 - 05 ?

[Somebody here may be able to find his cemetery record on the burial locator CD. ]

~   Lu

Edit:   Ooops  ... disregard the above.    Just remembered your previous threads looking for the McKENZIES, and noted that Adam McKENZIE was born c. 1853.     :)

Hi again Elizabeth

.... as per your previous thread ....

*  Isabella and children returned to UK - January 1891 departing from Melbourne.

Have you tried a search in Australia for death of Adam McKENZIE  ??

... and from other thread, you were also looking for birth of William Munro.

Birth

1879 - MacKENZIE - William Munro

Date of birth :   26 June 1879 (rather than July.   ;) )

Death of "Eleanor Isabella Munro McKENZIE (MacKENZIE) :
Sorry, this is not on NZ death index.   (Perhaps try Australia for this one also ?)

Thank you Lucy
Australia is a thought as the family sailed back to the UK from there in 1890=91
