I am looking for information about Emma Lindley, born 1854 in Epworth, who was living with her sister Fanny in Royton, Lancashire in 1881.

Hi Craggagh,

Are you trying to trace her forwards or back from 1881?  :)

Thank you for your swift reply.

Backwards is what I am really looking for, but anything at all would be really helpful.

Thanks again.

This should be William in 1841

1841
HO107/632/13 5 2
Epworth, Lincolnshire
Market Place

Robt Lindley, 40, Ag lab, born in county
Maria, 40, not born in county
William, 15, Tailors Ap, born in county
Henry, 14, born in county
Ann, 10, born in county
Richard, 7, born in county

By 1851, Robert is a Line? Merchant, age 52, b. Epworth
Maria is 44 born Marton Lincs and there are 2 new children: Samuel age 8 and George age 4. Children all born Epworth

FreeBMD shows only one William Lindley/Sarah marriage in Thorne district.
