COMPLETED- Looking for Rev Samuel Wood
« on: Monday 22 February 10 23:05 GMT (UK) »
Samuel Wood was minister in Wivenhoe Essex from 1709- 1719.
He then moved his ministry to Lavenham Suffolk until 1732.

I know he had at least one son- also named Samuel, and therefore he must have married!!

He died in Woodbridge Suffolk in 1748 and based on his age then, was born around 1683.

I am looking therefore for his marriage, and the baptisms of his children, and thought the best place to start would be his first ministry....can anyone help find him between 1709-1719 please?

Many thanks
Kylie B

Have you tried Essexseax yet? Wivenhoe records have been scanned for this time period.

Thanks Ronnie
I appreciate your time...so no births for any of his children there.

Any sign of his marriage?

Otherwise, it will be off to his next place of ministry- Lavenham Suffolk.

Thanks
Kylie B
