« on: Wednesday 24 February 10 20:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi All, Looking for George 'X' Toms, who was dead by 1896, but lived in Bermondsey, Leytonstone and Gravesend. Anything you have on him and of course earlier will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

You need to post everything you know about him that you know already.
Date & place of birth, parents....anything that may be of help.

Sue ::)
I'm not young enough to know everything.

His full name was George Thomas Toms, maried to Elizabeth Mary Toms, nee Harding. In 1870 he worked on the LNWR firstly as a ticket collector and ultimately (I assume) as a surveyor. His address in 1870 was 32a Rouel Rd, Bermondsey. By 1896 he had died, don't know when. A son, Henry Charles was born 21 March 1870 and registered at St Olave Southwark doc no 54481, though the certificate has another number, B 62793.
Thanks for anything you can find.
