Andrew Harvey Farmer Lanark 1840

I am looking for any information about Andrew Harvey,my gg grandfather.
He was a farmer in Lanark. He married Grace Jackson.Their son  was David Harvey  and he was born in 1840.
David married Janet Warnock on 7.6.1861 in Paisley.Andrew had died by this time.
In family letters there is mention of an uncle living in San Francisco around 1893.He was reported to be a ship owner and captain,having had a ship wreck at a younger age in a ship Elizabeth? something.
