Hi All,
         Does anyone have  pre 1855 burial records for auchtermuchty, I have a George Sinclair died 1831 Auchtermuchty but all death register says is his age. How can I get more info on this person as
I think he could be my GGGgrandad. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Rab, he is not in the MI's book for Auchtermuchty. However he is on SP and the fife death index:

George Sinclair bur 27/6/1830 Auchtermuchty age 56

no further info (quite usual)

Hi Diddy, can you help me?? It's Rab again and I wondered if you could check for a death record of a George Sinclair who was married to a christian Tod. Christian was buried in South Leith in 1822 but I can't find a death for George. I know he was still
in Edinburgh in 1825 and everything points to him being in Leslie Fife after this. Do you have any resources to find him Diddy.

Hi Rab, nothing on the fife death index. there are a couple on SP but do you know his birth date - what sort of age / death date are we looking for?
