Hi Fieryfemale,

The software is the same as far as I know - it's the length of the included Ancestry sub that differs.

thanks, that is pretty much what I wanted to know.

I already have a ancestry subscription, so will be pointless me getting anything other than the essentials one. :)

Hi

The Platinum Version of FTM comes with 6months free Essentials access to Ancestry and the 6months can be added on to any existing membership

I bought it for £19.95 so my subscription now expires in December instead of June

Essentials is a basic package (ie) Census BMD and some other records but does not include the parish records etc.

Carlin (Ireland & Liverpool) Doughty & Wright (Liverpool) Dick & Park (Scotland & Liverpool)

I have installed FTM2010 upgrade. To get my existing tree presently on FTM 2006 to transfer across completely including media...how do you do it as Gedcoms and PDF don't go across with media? Help please...no one said there was this problem!!
