R.A.M.C. Harold King
« on: Friday 12 March 10 18:30 GMT (UK) »
I have the marriage cert for Harold King dated 26 July 1926 in Methwold Norfolk.  He married Florence Elizabeth Adams Thompson and this was a first marriage for both.  Harolds father was Arthur King Builder
The witnesses were Fred King and Henry Robert Adams Thompson.

Harold was aged 26 so born 1899/1900 and Florence was 20 thus born 1906(I have all info on Florence)

Harolds occupation is listed as L- Sergt R.A.M.C.

I have no information on where Harold was born and thought I would try and follow the route of his career in the RAMC  but don't know where to start.

Any help would be truly appreciated

If he was still a serving soldier in 1926 then his service papers should still be with the Ministry of Defence. This link will tell you more:

You will have to show that you are next of kin and there is a fee.
