Hi Everyone,

I am looking for information on ROBERT BEVERIDGE who married FLORENCE MAUDE PALMER in 1912 Wallsend, NSW, Australia. I need his parents details but am unsure whether I should purchase the marriage certificate. Thankyou!

Do you know when Robert died?

There are 2 deaths for Robert Beveridges registered in Wallsend:
one in 1919 with parents William and Mary
and one in 1951 with parents David and Margaret

Of course he may not have died in Wallsend district or surname may be spelled differently, so the safest bet is to buy the marriage certificate. You may be able to make an educated guess if you know other events in his life.

A cheaper and quicker option to purchasing a certified certificate is to purchase a transcription abt $17   Transcription is emailed.

As well as the Deaths Ruskie mentioned, here are some Births;

1) 1877 Robert of David and Margaret at Wallsend (Ruskie's 1951 Death)

2) 1888 Robert of Robert and Angus at Wallsend

3) 1889 Robert SK of Robert and Emily at Hamilton

These are the ones that were born in the area and hadn't died before 1912 (marriage year). Any link between your Robert's children's name and the above parents e.g.David, Margaret, Angus or Emily?

Yes, must admit only "stabbing in the dark here". As previously recommended, Robert's Marriage Cert (transcript) is the only way to go. Sometimes it costs to get the correct answer  ;)
