Hi
Could they have died before 1942?

There is a death registered in Sheffield in 1939
William Trippett, Jun 1/4 9c 632
66yrs

and for Kate
Sep 1/4 1936 Sheffield 9c 340
58yrs
The ages fits in both instances :-\

Although the age is one year out, I think the William who died in 1939 may be this one...

Burials in Tinsley Park Cemetery
Grave KA56gp [gp=general portion (unconsecrated)]
TRIPPETT  Minnie Emily 20 Oct 1945 69 widow 16 Hansworth Ave
TRIPPETT Reginald 13 Oct 1922 19 son of William 6 Treeton St
TRIPPETT William 17 Jun 1939 67 retired 75 Trap Lane

A William TRIPPETT and a Minnie Emily ROSE appear on the same page of the marriage index in SEP Qtr 1896.

So probably not the right one.

Considering that the son lived in Derbyshire, I wondered if this could be William:

GRO Deaths MAR Qtr 1964
Name: William Trippett
Death Registration Month/Year: 1964
Age at death (estimated): 89
Registration district: Bakewell
Inferred County: Derbyshire
Volume: 3a
Page: 28

The 1936 entry could still be the right one for Kate unless you have proof she was alive later?

Thank you both for your input, but I know they were alive after 1950, though the one for 1964 may be worth persuing also Kate in that area between 1942 -1964.

Unfortunately have never had any connection with the family after 1995, though cousin Bill was doing a geneology on the family.
