Smith ancestors from Deeping Fen
« on: Sunday 21 March 10 01:13 GMT (UK) »
I'm trying to find info on Mary Ann Smith, born abt 1833, parents David Smith and Rebecca Willis.  She had a baby, Elisabeth, in about 1850.

Does anyone know what the address of Littleworth Drove means?  It was listed in the 1851 census as David's address.

I would like to find out who the descendants of Mary Ann and Elisabeth are as they are related to my husband.  He is a direct descendant of Mary Ann's brother.

Thanks

Here's a photo http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1355770

A drove is an old road that they used to drive cattle along.
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

Thanks for the info on Littleworth Drove.  My husband and I went to Market Deeping last fall and may have been on that road but didn't know the address then.  We may have to go back.
