Would someone be so kind as to let me know if Providence Buildings was in Pill   Newport Mon? if it was/is where abouts is it. ? thank you so much, someone may save my sanity yet.

If I maybe so cheeky, would anyone know where Temperance Cottages were/are. I think they were in Christchurch. Newport

Came across an old post of yours asking for info on the temperance cottages in Newport. I hope somebody has helped you before now, but if not.
The temperance cottages can be found on Christchurch Road in Newport they were built in 1887, Queen Victoria's Jubilee year.
If you use Google Earth to locate Victoria Ave in Newport and travel up to the top this brings you onto Christchurch Road. Now close in on the image to bring you into Googles 'Street View'. Turn left and the cottages can be clearly seen on the left-hand side of the road.

Thank you, no one responded to my request. I must explain though, I received the info of Providence Building from ancestry.com which suggested the building wa in town. Although, I do know my Grandparents lived at the area of Christchurch Rd. All very confusing methinks.
