Those who know and love Monmouth, will be saddened to hear of the death today of Monmouth's great historian and writer, Keith Kissack. 

He was 96 years old, and died peacefully ...

One of those men worthy of a mention, a warm and friendly man and a great teacher, the ruler warmed the fingers of your hand if you stepped out of line, but it was always deserved and I have never heard anyone who was a pupil of his complain.  He wanted you to learn and you did, he made things interesting and fun.  Maybe they could name a street after him.  Thanks Lydart

Did you go to Priory School then ?
