Rosabella Brook, Howe, Irvine
« on: Saturday 03 April 10 17:31 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for my great grandmother's sister, Rosabella, or Rosa Bella born Brook in Brighton in February 1854. The famly moved to Newcastle upon Tyne where in 1873 she married Thomas Howe, a tailor,  to whom she had one child, Thomas Tressty Howe and then an illegitimate child George Howe after Thomas had died in the late 1870s. In April 1882 Rosabella married for a second time in South Shields, to a Charles Irvine, a general dealer aged 50 and 22 years her senior. At that point she disappears. I've looked all over for her and can find nothing more. Can anyone help?

Hi and welcome to rootschat
I see you have also posted on the Durham board which may cause confusion so I will lock this one and all replies can go to the Durham one.

You won't miss out as everybody looks at both boards and the northerners are a helpful lot!
