COMPLETED - Restoration?

Is a restoration at all possible on this picture.  It is a scan from possibly a newspaper picture originally.
If not, at least I have this.
It is the only picture I have of my G Grandmother and 8 of the 10 children she had.  My Great Grandfather had passed a few years earlier.
My grandfather is in the lower right.

I wasn't sure if anything could be done.
Thomas Aitkin(en) my G Grandfather who is missing from the photo due to his passing in 1889, was born in Ireland, Sandwick, Shetland Isles and married here in Canada.
The two oldest daughters had pre-deceased him in 1882.
