Many thanks Welsh Lady,  I have started to look through the parish records and have found some of the names and dates in the bible that you looked up for me.

I have yet to tie in the relationship between my direct line of Probert  and the Howells family

  gg grandfather William b  1811 married to Benedicta ?1810 b Leominster
g grand father Thomas b 1850 married to Sarah Parry 1850 b Llanvetherine
Grandfather william b 1877  married to Esther Ann Lewis  b 1878 Trevethin
and then my mother and father.
