GEORGE MULLER HOMES - ASHLEY DOWN, BRISTOL
I am interested in hearing about PERSONAL experiences of children brought up in the George Muller Childrens Orpanage homes in Ashley Down, to the north of Bristol.
The period I am particularly keen to hear about is from the beginning of the 1900's.

Perhaps a parent or close relative told you about their time there. What was day to day life like.
Funny or sad incidents, personal rememberances.
Did they like it or hate it
That sort of thing.

Please get in contact, I really would love to hear from anyone with something to contribute.
Thanks
Alan

Alan, please contact me I can send you a copy of an extract from a talk given by an old boy who was in the homes in 1862.  Conditions in the orphanage were pretty much the same at the turn of the century.
