Thomas Sully
« on: Saturday 10 April 10 23:31 BST (UK) »
Trying to find out anything about Thomas Sully, the only fact I think I have is a marriage 18 Oct 1742 to Mary either Milners or Mellors in Arnold, they had at least one child Richard Sully born around 1762 in Arnold.

Thanks Carol, the name seems to be spelled both ways, so not sure if they were different families, there seem to be a lot of Sullys around Arnold. Is it possible Henry And ELiz were twins both with same Christening and about 18 months after their marriage.
Marie thank you for your suggestion,if you happen to be in the cemetry,Elizabeth daughter of Thomas, between 1743-1766,any Thomas and Richard 1819.I live in Canada, and am not familiar with Arnold, where is the redhill cemetry.

Hi Liz,
I will keep my eyes open ,will look in the old part .Redhill cemetery is about 5 mins walk from Arnold its self . There are also graves in st Marys church which is in Arnold its self. I often go to the Nottingham records office, just let me know if you want me to scout around in there for you.
