Sorry!!  Red herring.  I found the above people in 1880 and Susan Douglas’s husband was Edward Douglas, born 1844 in Scotland.

There is an unsourced tree on Ancestry with the following information:

William Douglas - b. 1 June 1844 Falkirk, Stirling, Scotland
            d. about 1910 Dallas, Collin County, Texas

Parents - George Douglas (1806 - 1879) and Janet Drummond (1803 - 1876)

Wife - Margaret Beattie (1848 - 1878)

Only one child is mentioned, Jessie Douglas (1870 - 1958).  There is no mention of Margaret Campbell Douglas and no mention of a second wife or any children in the US.

I don’t get it.  If you’re in Tarrant County, why don’t you just swing by the courthouse and have a look at the death records?  Or do you mean that you supplied the information but not the photos?  In which case, try contacting the photographer.  Or a RAOGK volunteer.  Or one of the Tarrant County people who do lookups.
