looking for William Douglas born 1844 Falkirk Scotland.
Found in 1880 Census NY as a lodger Widow.
1890 census understood census was burnt.
1891 Daughter Mary Campbell Douglas arrives in USA bound for Texas.
1892 Mary dies Dallas age 16. found Mary in Oakwood Cemetery Terrant Texas along with two chn William George and Ann May or Anna May. Unable to get death cert as I need to state were they died.
Would like to find wife and William after these dates.

Do you have the town where William lived in 1880?  Also, the birth/death dates of the other children?

I don't see him in 1878.  I don't see him in later years (in NYC).  He possibly left NYC in 1880?

Note:  William was boarding with several other stone cutters in 1880.  I tried searching for a few of them on c1880 directories and did not see them at the above address.

Since that thread gives more detail than we have here, it would be helpful for people to take a look at it.  The last post in the other thread is over a year old, so the odds of anyone adding to it are slim and I wouldn't think it would need to be removed.
