Kirk/Caraher from Edenkell, Dundalk

Hello,
  I am seeking information regarding the family of Thomas Kirk born on 11 August 1841 in Edenkell, Dundalk.  Thomas Kirk's parents were listed as Thomas Kirk and Bridget Caraher.  Thomas Kirk, Jr. arrived in New York City on or about 12 March 1867....He ended up settling in Brockton, Massachusetts.  Thomas may have had a brother named Bernard as I found an abstract regarding  the will of a Thomas Kirk from Edenkell who left the family farm to his son Bernard Kirk.  Anyone with a connection out there?

www.nationalarchives.ie
for that townland.
