Lookup of 1851 Bedfordshire Census Kitely

I would really appreciate information on

James Kiteley born around 1832 in Roxton and shows up in Clifton for 1881 census.

I believe he married Mary Lincoln born around 1835 in Clifton.

Children were John, Joseph, Arthur (my great grandfather)

There are several Kiteley's in the Roxton Parish Records including James' Christening. If you look on the LDS site at Batch Number: C002392.

1803 National Defence list in Roxton has:

Charles KITELEY, 38 year old labourer with 6 children under 10


John KITELYC [?] a 35 year old labourer with 3 children under 10

Thank you for deciphering the census records. I really had trouble making out "Ann" the 77 year old widow.
The rest of the records were legible and I was very pleased with the findings.

The other breanch of the family is Joseph Lincoln, born around 1838-9 in Campton and married Eliza ? around 1858. Eliza was born in 1841, in Clifton. Joseph and Eliza lived in CLifton; their daughter Rachel married Arthur Kiteley, son of James and Mary.

What information do you require for the Lincoln side of the family? I've had a quick look and found information for Joseph and Eliza from the 1851, 1871, 1881, 1891 & 1901 censuses. I have also found some birth/marriage records.

I'm not sure what you already have. If you put a specific request on the Bedfordshire lookup page I'll try and provide you with the info you want.

2) When did she marry Joseph? - est. 1863
3) Birthdate of daughter Rachel - est. 1865
4) When did Rachel marry Arthur Kiteley - son of James? I estimate about 1884.

So you can deduce that Eliza Maiden name is Tompkins. To be absolutely sure you will need to order the cert. from the GRO.
 
Your estimated birthdate for Rachael is not available on Free BMD as only Dec 1865 has been indexed so far. To find her b/day you will have to use a pay site such as: http://www.1837online.com/Trace2web/

For the princely sum of 10p (two lookups) I found:

Again to confirm buy the cert.
