anyone researching cattles
« on: Wednesday 21 April 10 23:56 BST (UK) »
I am wondering if anyone else is researching the Cattles. From what I understand there are 4 main lines and I think my London Cattles came from either the Northampton or Somerset line.
 :D cheers

Ive been tracking  some of our Cattle ancestors, from the Somerset area. Who do you have in your line?

I have:
Ralph Cattle (1701-?) married to Sarah Fourace (1705-?) both born in Staplegrove.

Their children:

Thomas Cattle (1730's, Hillfarrance) married to Mary Dite (1742, Hillfarrance)
William Cattle (1733, Hillfaranrce)

Thomas & Mary's children:

William Cattle (1769, Somerset)
Elizabeth Cattle (1771, Somerset)
Samuel Cattle (1773, Somerset)
Edward Cattle (1775, Somerset)
Hannah Cattle (1779, Somerset)
Thomas Cattle (1781, Somerset), Married Martha Ware (1783, Somerset)
Martha Cattle (1785, Somerset)
Isaac Cattle (1788, Somerset), Married Martha Charles

Isaac & Martha's Children:
John Charles Cattle, 1820
Isaac Cattle, 1823
Charles Cattle, 1827

Thomas & Martha's Children:
Robert Cattle (1809-1885)
Joseph Cattle (1811-?, Hillfarrance)
Thomas Cattle (1815-?, Somerset)
Edward Cattle (1819-1875, Somerset)
Samuel Cattle (1822-?, Hillfarrance) Married Hannah Loller (1822)
James Cattle (1824-?, Hillfarrance) Married Elizabeth Hill (1824)

Any of those relate to any of yours? I do have the children of Samuel and James as well, just getting too much to type

Hello, This is my very first day at researching. I am a Cattle whose Father was born in or around Woolwich in 1917,whose Father was a Charles Edwin and Mother Lydia. The family moved to Stafford in the early 1920's. At this stage I know very little more.
