HENRY ALLEN married ANNIE WELBOURNE in 1914 in nottingham
Think????Henry ALLENS parents were WILLIAM ALLEN and ALICE KNIGHTON who marriied in 1892 in Basford Nottingham
Have a Quandry tho with this line too
Have a Daughter HILDA D ALLEN who was born in 1912 in Nottingham, Lists parents as ALLEN/WELBOURNE
3 other children were listed too henry allen and annie welbourne, but were born after the marriage in 1914, yet hilda was born 1912 pre marriage
Any help would be appreciated

Ohhh also are there any records on line with names etc of those british that were prisoners on burma railroad, one of the allen sons Henry Douglass Allen was a prisoner of war on the railroad but cant find any links which gives names etc

The Henry Allen who married Annie Welbourne, I Think his parents are William Allen and Alice Knighton...My friend who im researching for, with these lines, said theres definitely a Knighton Connectiion, as she recalls her mother who was a allen, born in england, talking about them
This Henry allen tho i have him born in 1895, and annie wellborne born in 1881, daughter of John Knighton and Priscilla Granger
Buttttt i cant find a henry allen aged around 6 on 1901 census with parents william and alice(nee Knighton)
Unless im up the wrong tree somewhere lol

she said her mums dad was a postman, there, are there any postman records in nottingham on line?
Also has applied for her mums birth cert, but that was a month ago, applied on line, but nothing yet, a bit strange so i suggested to ring them if she doesnt get a cert this week to see whats happening with it
