1881, 1891, 1901 Censes Lookup request

Hi There,

I have a Edward George Buckby born in June Q 1880 Northampton



He married in September Q 1904 in Wellingbro' to a Ellen Elizabeth BARFORD

They had a son in 1910 Leonard Joseph BUCKBY 15/11/1910 born in Abbyfield Essex England. He died in 2002 in NZ

I am trying to find out who Edwards parents and work back from there

If anyone can help that will be great

Joseph seems to be the son of John (of Newnham) and 
Elizabeth (Spratton).

I have sent an message to Leonard's daughter and she says her tree goes back to abt 1710 Higham Ferrers for a John Buckby.

I have not been given any more info. But am trying to find this out for myself.

With my own Buckby tree it starts back abt  1657 with a John Buckby married to a Mary Unknown married abt 1674 England.

I am sure they all tie in somewhere but have to work it out

This is what I have been sent by Leonard's Daughter

(Grandparents) Edward George Buckby  1880 - 1912 married Ellen Elizabeth Barford 1904
(G. Grandparents) Joseph Buckby married Martha Ann Gander
(G. G. Grandparents) John Buckby married Elizabeth Flora Horne
Then back to (G. G. G. Grandparents) John Bugby married Elizabeth Smith
(G. G. G. G. Grandparents) John Bugby married Elizabeth Kebar
(G. G. G. G. G. Grandparents) John Bugby married Catherine Crowson

She also said the some of the Buckby's changed their surname to Bateman in another line.

This is all so confusing

So if you can find any more that would be great.

Hi Newbe.

I am afraid there is only one name Buckby in Spratton Churchyard on the
War Memorial.

I will see if there any other surnames of the families above.
