Moyles family

Hi does anyone have any information on the moyles family in meath? My great great grandfather patrick moyles got married in balivor to mary daly . Would love to hear from any other moyles families from up that side. Loads in mayo but cant find a connection to them

Thanks shane, but just wanted to see if there are any moyles families in the county now. Its an unusual surname

There's a Moyles in Navan who is well known for doing catering etc in the area (JMC foods),maybe he's one of your Moyles?

I am researching MOYLES in Laois, Tipperary, Offaly, Kildare.  Several different James Moyles and their children.

hi clark,  thanks for your reply! my grandfather was james moyles too, born 1914 in dunmore galway, his father was patrick moyles born in killucan west meath in 1886. then my great great grandfather was pat moyles born in meath in 1836. would any of these names connect up with your research? would be so delighted if they did as i have totally hit a dead end with my moyles research.

None of those names are familiar.  I seem to run across lots of James, Johns, Thomas.  My group were C of I if that makes a difference.

hi,
think all my side were catholic but have seen on my mothers family a mix of church of ireland and roman catholic. so you would never know they might be connected a bit further back. have you and connection to the moyles in mayo? every one i have talked to seem to lead back to ballina except my branch. their a bit of a mistery at the monent. will let you know if i find more info thanks again jennifer!
