Probably the best place to start would be their marriage certificate as it will list residences of bride and groom at time of marriage as well as fathers' names and occupations.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

William,
I cannot find a marriage but I assume that you have seen the family on the 1911 census in Parker Street, Pottinger DED.

hello catterson. first welcome to rootschat, and a happy new year. i dont have much on the crowe side but only going by the 1901/11 census and what my uncle told me.joseph was from tyrone and did marry catherine crowe in castlederg.joseph was church of ireland and a shoemaker. they lived in east belfast in parker st. my g/father was adam thomas lucas born  in bridgetown castlederg c1894. joseph died in 30 july 1922 and catherine died in 20 oct 1954,but they are not buired in the same plot in dundonald cemetery. iam sorry to say i have nothing on the crowe family only what my uncle has told me. any more info on them would be great. i do has more on the lucas side if you want any thing. having the church where they married is great next time i get home, will have alook in the proni. take care hope to hear from you soon. regards, william
