I am looking for any info on my great great grandfather, Jacob Edvard EKSTEDT.
Born: 1848 Stockholm,Sweden
Died: 13 July 1900 Barbaton, South Africa
Jacob immigrated to South Africa in 1877 on board the Adele.
He travelled 3rd class and alone.
He was a carpenter by trade.
He departed from Hamburg and landed in East London, South Africa, were he later married Emma Keller, a german immigrant.
Any further info would be much appreciated. I would love to know what happened to his family in Sweden.
