Victorian BMD index shows this marriage

Thomas LOVELL (born BALLARAT) m Mary Jane LAMBERT (b Allansford) 1880 reg no 4192

This matches the IGI entry found by JoRose.  You can download the certificate immediately for about $17.50 and it should give you good information about their parents also.

If IGI has the correct parents for Thomas  you can also download his birth certificate: (Lester looks like a mistranscription for Nestor - there are 9 children born toThomas Lovell and Mary Nestor)

Thomas LOVELL b Ballarat, parents Thomas LOVELL and Mary LESTER, 1855,  reg no 4190

There are five children shown born to Thomas LOVELL and Mary Jane LAMBERT up to 1888, including Louisa Jane in 1886 as already given above.  The registration number for her birth, in case you want to order it is 18485.

Hi Sheryl,

My family comes from Harriet Lovell, a sister of Louisa Ann Lovell, and I have been tracing the family for years. I have a bit of information on Thomas Lovell from Tasmania - father Thomas Lovell who died in 1852, mother Jane Ogle, sister Maria who married Owen Roberts. I have no idea when or how they came to be in Evandale where our Thomas and Maria were born.
I only have the bare details of Louisa's family so maybe help me there and I can fill you in on Harriet's.
