Mary Ann Lambert married Thomas Lovell in Ballarat.  I think Thomas was from Tasmania, the Huon Valley but this is to be confirmed.
My grandmother was Louisa Ann Lovell from Hillside Bairnsdale.  I was left a family album with old prints and a tin photo of the lovells.
I still have a lot of research to do on this family.  Louisa married William Francis Goodwin.  His Grandfather was James Stewart aka Goodwin a convict from Tasmania who married Mary Anne Maule.

Hi Sheryl,
Thomas Lovell (poss b. Tas ) married Mary Anne Lambert in Ballarat. Right?

You think Louisa Anne Lovell was their daughter. She lived in Bairnsdale.

Louisa married William Francis Goodwin,  the grandson of James Stewart (aka Goodwin) and Mary Anne (nee Maule).

If I have understood your posting  OK, what direction would you like to look at for searching?

Do you have any dates at all from the album?

 :D :D

No dates on the Album which is a shame.  A lot of very old pictures taken in Melbourne.  I would like to know if there is anyone with knowledge of this family and where in Tasmania they are from.  Please understand I am a novice when it comes to family history and would appreciate help with anyone.  I am willing  to forward copies of photos to family members from the Bairnsdale area if they are the same family.

http://www.familysearch.org/
shows a Thomas Lovell m. Mary Jane Lambert in 1880 (Allansford), he was the son of Thomas Lovell and Mary Ann Nester and  b. 1855.

There is a daughter Louisa Ann b. 1886 listed.

These are submitted records and so would need to be checked against the original bmds etc but it gives you a starting point.
If you look on Australia Recordsearch for the WWI records of Charles Ernest LOVELL, one of Louisa's brothers, he is listed as b. Bairnsdale and his mother's address is given as Calulu.
