Hi I am wondering if someone can help me find out about a grand-Uncle who left the Dunedin area of South Island of New Zealand about 1910 travelling to Texas as an Evangelist, Circuit Minister.
Born 31/12/1887 New Zealand 
He was the son of William McLeod born Scotland 1844 (died 27 December 1928) and Jessie McLeod nee Cummings born Larnarkshire Scotland (died Abt 1944 New Zealand)
We understand he was never married and the last anyone heard from or about him was 1964 -a photo
I have tried a couple of religious organisations but with no luck.

His social security card was issued in Texas (1966?)

In 1930, he was living in Mission, Hidalgo County, Texas
James McLeod, age 42, Lodger, Single, born New Zealand, parents born Scotland.  Immigrated 1922.  Evangelist, Independent.  He was living with two other Evangelists.

My that was quick - Yes that does sound like him - how exciting.
Is there a Social Security No ? tried to look that up earlier
and  the Death Certificate that wouldnt come through on my screen - just Done and a blank screen so is that a familysearch link?
How would I find out if he was married and if there are any other relations over there?

Hi Houston:

The FamilySearch link has two matches for James McLeod.  If you click on the image on the far left (resembles a piece of paper) of his name, the image should appear.  I believe the certificate stated that he had never married.

However, I believe the second match (that doesn't have an image), stated that he was married.  ???

Nothing happened when I tried to view Death Cert but managed to link through to Family Search and get their information - couldnt see any marriage.
