It makes a bit more sense now.
He was 95th Regiment of Foot all his service, except a mention of ?20th Regiment on 1st
childs birth registration which may be an error, born in 1835, September which makes him 18 on enlistment, is this under age?
Missing from census in 1851? family all accounted for
In 1871 he was in Military Barracks in Alverstoke, Hampshire age 35
In 1876 His third child was born in 'BURY' (I wondered why he was here)
In 1881 hes in Worksop, a railway porter and Chelsea pensioner age 45.
He died in 1883 of Pneumonia in Widnes, a foreman at the Midland Railway Goods Yard.
P.S. Just looked and the Lancashire Fusiliers were formerly 20th Regiment Foot (East Devonshire)
David was originally from Suffolk. His wife was with him much of this time.
