Kerr & Forde in Antrim
« on: Tuesday 18 May 10 09:51 BST (UK) »
Having received some remarkably quick info on a marriage yesterday can I ask the following.

Now looking for marriages for Archibald Forde to an Isabella ? circa 1890

Also Alexander Kerr circa 1885

Looks like they were presbyterian from the Larne District

I know its a bit cheeky but any other info ref these families would be greatly appreciated.

Have you found them in 1911 census yet? 1901 census is due to come online 3 June on National Archives site-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search

The 1911 census asked married woman how many years married which is helpful as a guide to the date and civil index is online (free)- see here:

Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Yes, Alexander Kerr is listed as a widow hence no name for his wife.

Apologies re Archibald as I had seen it as 1894 hence knowing wifes name as Isabella, not sure if that is enough info to get a cert. though
