1901 help please****Completed***
« on: Friday 21 May 10 07:07 BST (UK) »
Hi
Can anyone help locate the following family in 1901?

I have the 1911 census showing
Robert Jennings born East Bergholt Suffolk gardener 1861
Annie Jennings Born Allensmore Herts 1862(married 20 yrs)
William Henry Jennings born Leck 1893 Railway Porter
Florence Jennings born Melling

Its William Henry im researching he was a soldier in West Riding Regiment Killed in Action in April 1918
SDGW has him listed as born Hipping Hall resident Kirkby Lonsdale

I know Hipping Hall one of my ancestors used to work there but i cannot find this family on the census so there may be a mistranscription?

Thanks for any help.

Well...I've found them...they're transcribed as HENNINGS
and are living at Melling Cottage, Melling with Wrayton, Lancashire
Robert, age 40, a coachman, born East Bergholt, Essex
Annie, age 40, his wife, born Allenmore, Hereford
William H, age 8, born Leck, Lancs
George, age 6, born Melling
Alice, age 4, born Melling
Florence, age 5 months, born Melling

Hope this helps, Dazey
