Fairleys in Tyrone

Hi  I live in New Zealand and trying to find my grandfathers family. His name was Samuel Fairley and from his Marriage  cerficate was born in Glasgow but on his death certificate  County Tyrone. His parents were William Fairley (Fitter) and Margaret McDonald. He married my grandmother  Eleanor Hindle Donkin  in January 1893 (Auckland NZ) and then worked on the goldfields at Thames. Welcome to Rootschat. Any idea when Samuel Fairley was born? Civil registration of births in Ireland started in 1864 but Scottish records a bit earlier.

Hi, Many thanks for your reply.
 Samuel was born (on his mariage cert) he give the age of 27. So would make his birth date1866
 However on his death cert of 1938 there is the age of 78, which would give a birth date of 1860.
 and then, on my mothers birt cert of 1908. He gives his age as 45. Which makes his birth date 1863.
  So in all this I have no idea when exactly he was born.
