Hi all, if anyone has transcripts of Ampthill banns or is going to library & can spare a few minutes, I would appreciate a couple of look-ups please. I do not know how involved this would be myself, but am reliably told that it should only take seconds to run down a 20 year period in the transcript looking for a name.
I wasn't aware of using this resource to look for marriages outside of the parish until told on another posting of mine, so fingers crossed that banns can be found for this father & son from Ampthill.
What I have is a William Page & Ann who had following children in Ampthill, with no corresponding marriage that I can see: Henry 1767, Susan 1769, William 1771, Ann 1773, Frances 1775, Thomas 1778, Sally 1781.
Also in Ampthill in 1741 is baptism of William Page to William Page & Elizabeth. As above, I can see no corresponding marriage for William & Elizabeth, nor for that matter any other baptisms to these parents.
