Marriage - Robert FUNNEL/FUNNELL to Elizabeth ?? abt 1817

I am looking for the marriage of a Robert FUNNEL/FUNNELL & Elizabeth ?? before or about 1817 in all counties (except Sussex & Oxfordshire)

Robert & Elizabeth's children were all baptised at West Firle, Sussex 1817-1839 but there is no marriage in Sussex for this Robert FUNNEL/FUNNELL & Elizabeth

The family were living in West Firle, Sussex at the time of the 1841 census.
Robert was age 40, Ag Lab, born in another county
Elizabeth was age 40, born Ireland
Also a Jane FUNNEL (possibly Robert's mother) was in the same household, age 84, born in another county

Both Robert and Jane died before the 1851 census so I can't get clues to their birthplace.

I appreciate any efforts made to help locate this marriage

On the I.G.I. I can only find two Robert Funnels both submitted.You will now better than I if they fit in your tree anywhere

BoB Funnell Married Mary Ann Rice Winter June 27th 1819
St Martin At the palace in Norfolk.

This is a bit early but you never know it might be related

Thank you for taking the time to try locate Robert FUNNELL & ELizabeth's marriage.
I should have mentioned that I had already checked the IGI.
At this point neither of those Robert's (Bob) fit into the family I am researching, although I may find at some point that they are related.

The earliest solution to this is to purchase Elizabeth Funnel's Birth Cert as she was born post 1837.
It will provide Mothers Maiden Name.

Lewes was the Reg District in which they were living in 1841 Census.

Thank you for taking the time to find the Norfolk marriage of Robert FUNNEL & Elisabeth CRASKE in 1813. It is definitely worth exploring whether this couple baptised children in the area and show up in later census.

Of course you are right, and if it were my own tree I woudn't hesitate to order Elizabeth's birth certificate.
I am doing the FUNNELL tree for friends so will have to ask if they want to spend the money to take the direct line a step further.

Not the marriage but a possible christening for Robert;

Given the possibity of Mother Jane and first child of Robert and Elizabeth on 1841 Census is Benjamin.

Robert FUNNELL. Christened 19 June 1805, Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire
Parents, BENJAMIN and JANE
He is the only one on the batch

Christenings in Calvington,Sussex, Parents BENJAMIN and JANE;
BENJAMIN, 05 November 1780

Marriage;
Benjamin FUNNELL, Jane WEBSTER, 02 September 1777, Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire

As Jane is born c 1757 on 1841 Census the Marriage is at least a possibility.
Or Benjamin born c 1780 is Roberts Father and he married a Jane also.
Therefore the Jane on 1841 Census is Roberts Grandmother.

Just suggestions to keep in mind for later.
