The house numbering for Willingham Rd in the 1901 census is consecutive 1, 2, 3, 4 ... not 1, 3, 5, 7 etc.
Helpfully, No.35 is shown as Fern House - which still stands today.
http://tinyurl.com/37r8qc5 The numbers continued up to No.59 to be followed by De Aston school. The census continued with Willingham Road (all unnumbered) finishing at Pasture Lane - I'm guessing these were all on the north side of the road.
The school (or its replacement) stands in the same place today. I can't see any old houses on the south side of the road between Fern House and the school. Nor can I see any on the 1907 map at
http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.htmlI wonder how the houses on the north side are numbered today ... I can't see any numbers on Streetview.
