57 Willingham Road, Market Rasen/ White Hart Inn King St, Market Rasen Completed

Can anyone tell me what is here now? My great aunt, Susanna Lyall lived here to at least 1901. 

Also I am interested to finding a photo of the White Hart (pub) which was in King Street, Market Rasen. My great uncle William Goodson was the licensee here in 1851. He was later the licensee of the Swan Inn in Queen Street.

I went through there on Friday, but can`t remember seeing The White Hart, which doesn`t mean to say it`s not still there !!

I tried streetview for 57 Willingham Road, but still couldn't see what is there. It's right the crossroads.

The house numbering for Willingham Rd in the 1901 census is consecutive 1, 2, 3, 4 ... not 1, 3, 5, 7 etc.

Helpfully, No.35 is shown as Fern House - which still stands today. http://tinyurl.com/37r8qc5  The numbers continued up to No.59 to be followed by De Aston school.  The census continued with Willingham Road (all unnumbered) finishing at Pasture Lane - I'm guessing these were all on the north side of the road.

The school (or its replacement) stands in the same place today.  I can't see any old houses on the south side of the road between Fern House and the school.  Nor can I see any on the 1907 map at http://www.old-maps.co.uk/maps.html

I wonder how the houses on the north side are numbered today ... I can't see any numbers on Streetview.

It is soooooooooo frustrating. I didn't have this info last year when I actually visited Market Rasen in Oct. I could have looked!! But it's always the way. It's the same with the pub - I knew about the White Swan, which when I was there had just reopened. But didn't know about the White Hart and now I can't find anything about that. Maybe I'll get back in 2012!

Both Willingham Road and King Street show up on 'Google Earth'.  Maybe someone with local knowledge could make sense of the buildings from the information given by Geoff-E and you could see a 3D image.  Hope so!

I went though Market Rasen again yesterday and spotted something that might be what you are looking for.

Just before the crossroads where King Street becomes Willingham Road there is a closed down bar I think it had the name Goldmine Bar on it, but it looked like an old pub.
