There are 2 Mary Jane Blyth's on the Norfolk 1861 - one b 1848/49 Caister and the other 1849/50 Norwich

There is also a Mary Blyth b 1850 Caister

We would need details of either her parents or at least her father to determine the correct entry.

If you don't have that info - you will need to buy a copy of the 1870 marriage cert to get her fathers name and occupation

On 1871 Census George Knox and wife Mary are living with his parents in Gt. Yarmouth - ref. RG10 - 1790 - 71 - 5.    Mary J. is shown as 22, b. Yarmouth and there appears to be a dau. Emily F. b.1870 (births show Emily Frederica).

Can't find any trace of George, Mary and Emily after 1871.

Mary Jane Blyth was actually born 1848 at Caister although family moved to Yarmouth when she was very young.

1851 Census - with mother Mary Blyth 27 - shown as Captains wife - born Liverpool, Lancs. and siblings Susannah 8 b.Liverpool and Joseph E. inf. born Caister also.  Ref. HO107-1807-23-3

1861 - Mary J. with siblings in Yarmouth - RG09-1190-13-19 - census worded oddly as shown as sons/dau. but parents are actually in Liverpool with 2 youngest children - Joseph bc.1820 Caister - Master Mariner - ref. RG09-2678-7-8

1871 - Mary back in Yarmouth - appears newly widowed (youngest child aged 2) - ref. RG10-1790-59-29

1881 - Widowed Mary still in Yarmouth - ref. RG11-1909-12-18.

Eldest dau. of Joseph and Mary was Susannah bc.1842/3 Liverpool so looks like they married in Liverpool as this was Mary's birthplace too.   IGI shows a Joseph Blyth married Mary Yates 10/10/1841 St. Peters Church Street, Liverpool, Lancs.
